This isn't a startup or a business venture - it's just my way of helping people avoid scams. Think of Hopinio like Wikipedia for Online shopping: community-driven, non-profit, and focused purely on public good. I created it in my free time because I was tired of seeing friends and family fall victim to fake sellers. No venture capital, no profit motives - just a developer trying to make social shopping safer for everyone.

Instagram shopping is booming, but so are the scams. While I plan to expand to other social platforms soon, I'm focusing on Instagram first because that's where most people need help right now. The goal? To make sure you never lose money to fake sellers again.

Right now, I'm covering all costs myself because I believe in this mission. While I might add some minimal ads in the future to keep the servers running, this project will never be about making money. Your safety is what matters most!
